Dr. Gregory H. Landis

Dr. Gregory H. Landis is board certified cardiovascular surgeon who has been in private practice in the Lansing area since 1991. He co-founded the cardiac surgery program at Sparrow Hospital in 1994 with nationally exceptional results. At Sparrow Hospital, Dr. Landis was first to perform laser surgery on the heart and the first to insert an endovascular graft to treat abdominal aortic aneurysms.

In 2003, Dr. Landis was the first cardiovascular surgeon in Lansing to perform office laser surgery for the treatment of venous insufficiency and varicose veins. Dr. Landis has since focused his practice on the treatments for venous disease from the smallest spider vein on the face to complicated vein problems such as ulcers and blood clots. He also continues to treat arterial disease with minimally invasive endovascular procedures. He has now performed over 3500 endovenous laser ablation (EVLA) procedures in his clinics, more than all physicians in Lansing combined. Success rate is 99%. We are celebrating our tenth year of the Landis Vein Clinic.

Dr. Landis is an Associate Clinical Professor at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and has given several lectures at the medical school. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Michigan Osteopathic Association, and the American College of Phlebology. Several physicians have also been trained at the Landis Vein Care Clinics. Dr. Landis is also board certified in general surgery and circulation technologies.
